| I just watched it and i think it's awesomeeee and i loved the music in the end of the line club by daftpunk (where sam meets zuse). The battle arena scence was cool with the light cycle battles and disc battles.
who else has seen it?

| I haven't seen the new one but as there was nothing like ctf or any other game modes where there is an alternative aim other than killing your opponent in the original film, i doubt that there will be anything related to ctf | |

| 3D really doesn't have a significant effect unless you are watching it on a massive screen like the imax or something. In normal cinemas the effect is hardly noticable. | |

| I saw it the day it came out, which incidentally was the day I got done with finals. I'd been waiting for it for eight years (which is impressive, considering as it was only really on the drawing board for somewhat less than half of that duration of time) and, on this particular day, up for thirty hours because I had an Observatory Methods exam at, like, 8:00 AM or something, but the professor let us come in at like 7:00 because the exam was going to be longer than Route 66, War and Peace, or The Burning of the Red Lotus Temple (or The Cure for Insomnia, for that matter). I then went and finished up an assignment that I'd been working on for that class for rather a long time (he basically said it was due before we left, he really didn't care when we turned it in, and it was the assignment from hell), spent hours on it, and turned it in just in the nick of time. I fell asleep on the plane during the first leg of the journey. Upon arriving at my layover spot, the next plane's departure time kept getting changed, which was very frustrating. Finally, after a delay of two hours, a gate change, getting my picture taken with Santa for a discounted flight next time I flew, and having a pleasant conversation with somebody else on my flight, the crew of the plane got there (weather problems in Vegas, of all places, kept the next crew rotation from arriving and therefore our plane from taking off). We made good time in getting back, but this was negated by the amount of time it took for A) the baggage carousel to commence operations when I got back home and B) the amount of time it took for my luggage to crop up on the baggage carousel. Now, luckily, my conversational partner reminded me of a theater that we'd all forgotten about that was literally ten minutes' time from the airport. We got there twenty minutes after showtime, at which point the message advising people to keep their 3D glasses on at all times was just then starting to appear.
It became my new favorite movie.
TL;DR: I saw TRON: Legacy the day it came out after one heck of an ordeal after waiting for it for eight years and it was the best movie I'd ever seen.
